The digital game design workshop and meeting leg of the “DIGICULTGAME” Project was held at Istanbul Bahçeşehir University between September 16-21, 2024 with academics and students of the universities of the project stakeholder countries. Students were given theory and practice-based trainings on digital game design. Within the scope of these trainings, academics and students participated in the technical trip to Bulgur Palace, which was selected as a historical and cultural place. At the beginning of the workshop process, ESOGU gave information about the point reached in the project, the work done, the budget, and held meetings where they conveyed information about the process and the process to be carried out in the continuation of the process. An “ice breaking” event was organized for students from different countries and universities to take part in common groups and establish cultural interaction during the workshop training process. Menus and lunches were prepared at Bahçeşehir University in accordance with the food consumption and allergies of the project participant academicians and students.
As a result of the 6-day Istanbul worshop and meeting process, students made their first presentations on their case studies on digital game design. An evening gala dinner was organized in a place called “Güneşin Sofrası” in Kadıköy in order to ensure social and cultural interaction of the participating academicians who are project stakeholders.

On 16 September 2024, a technical and cultural trip to the Golden Horn Peninsula was organized with the participation of all project stakeholder country members. Within the scope of this technical and cultural trip; Feshane, Pier Loti, Arab Mosque, Galata Tower, Bedesten, Yeni Mosque, Spice Bazaar, Rüstem Pasha Mosque, Tahtakale Bath, Vakıf Han, Büyük Post Office, Flora Han, Sirkeci Inn, Şerefiye Cistern, Nuru Osmaniye Mosque and Grand Bazaar were visited and information about their architectural and historical processes were received.
